We are glad that you are allowing us the opportunity to introduce you to Bethany Lutheran School in Naperville, Illinois. We have been blessed with a congregation that has supported a Christian day school for 80 years. This year over 250 children in preschool through 8th grade will have the opportunity to hear the grace, love and forgiveness of our Lord Jesus Christ from quality, caring Christian teachers.

Bethany has a staff of 23 teachers who are committed to providing a Christ-centered academic environment. In addition to the regular curricular areas, our students also benefit from instruction by specialists in the areas of Music, Art, Band, Drama, Special Education, Physical Education and Spanish. Bethany also offers interscholastic sports in volleyball, basketball, track, cross country and cheerleading.

Our theme this year is SAVED BYGRACE….SENT TO SERVE based on Ephesians 2:8-10. The most important word in this theme is also a gift. It’s grace. God offers it to everyone. The Bible says: “For by grace you have been saved….This is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” Everything that God gives us is a gift of grace—our families, our homes, our clothing, our good health. But, in the Bible verse, God’s grace means His gift of salvation.

Jesus earned grace for us by keeping God’s law perfectly. He didn’t deserve to be punished, because He never sinned. Yet He died in our place. Through His death and resurrection we get a gift we don’t deserve. That’s God’s grace!

The scripture goes on to say, “For we are God’s workmanship”. God has made each one of us in a very special way. Because of what he has done for us, we are eager and willing to share His love with others! This message is shared daily with the students of Bethany Lutheran School.
